Job Description
A 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity has arisen for a PPC Manager to join our expert team, covering maternity leave. The PPC Manager will oversee and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing, with a focus on search, display, and remarketing strategies. You will be responsible for optimising client campaigns, managing budgets, and working to achieve sales and lead generation targets.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing PPC strategies, analysing performance data, and producing detailed reports for clients. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of PPC management experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of digital marketing principles. Key Responsibilities
- Client Account Management: Manage a portfolio of client PPC accounts, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling email communications, requests, and meetings with minimal supervision.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop, launch, and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads and other platforms, ensuring alignment with client goals. Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to achieve client objectives.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed monthly reports, providing insights into campaign performance and KPIs. Communicate results to clients and internal stakeholders, offering recommendations for improvement and further optimisation.
- Team Support & Collaboration: Support PPC Executive(s) and freelance resource by guiding them through campaign builds, research, and optimisation tasks. Share best practices to ensure high-quality work and adherence to TDS processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Google Ads metrics, campaign types, and bidding strategies. Utilise Google Ads Editor for account updates and assist with conversion tracking, identifying and troubleshooting issues where necessary.
- Client KPIs: Set and manage client KPIs, ensuring regular progress updates and flagging at-risk KPIs to relevant stakeholders. Contribute to discussions on how to optimise performance in line with client objectives.
- Commercial Awareness: Track time accurately using the agency's time-tracking system. Ensure that account management is profitable and that client budgets are maintained within set parameters. Highlight opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional services.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance PPC strategies and processes, including using AI for efficiency and optimisation. Regularly stay up-to-date with PPC trends and share knowledge with the wider team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing paid campaigns across Google and Bing.
- Ability to demonstrate improvements in ROAS and CPA across e-commerce and lead generation campaigns.
- Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Strong understanding of wider digital marketing channels and how they work together.
- A structured and methodical approach to ongoing optimisation of PPC campaigns.
- The ability to spot opportunities on campaigns to improve performance and grow accounts.
- Great analytical skills & attention to detail.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills are essential for managing multiple campaigns at once.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand client’s needs.
- Strategic overview and the ability to maximise client budgets and profit margins for the best campaign performance.
- Must live within commuting distance of Leamington Spa.

We offer a competitive salary (DOE) and a quarterly team performance bonus. The role provides flexible hybrid working, with two days office-based (Monday and Tuesday) and three remote days. A home setup can be provided.
